With the goal to promote contemporary art and restoring the Indian ethos and culture, Arushi Arts isn't restricted to just selling and marketing the art. In fact, it has been able to bridge the gap between the people and the art of India with its unique strategies.
What do they do?
At Arushi Arts, art itself is treated as history, and the art pieces they sell tend to have a purpose as well. Those art pieces vary in a range of topics, which are current affairs, societal norms and views, and last but not least, environmental factors and their impacts. The goal behind staying restricted to it is to evolve themselves not only as a part of the marketing world but also as a medium to give new dimensions of perceiving the art.
About The Artist
Mona Rai is famous for her square works. She also has a fascination for dots, dashes, slashes, and various strokes. Her works are mostly in square formats, but at times she uses rectangular canvases also. In her works, the surrealist jolt of seeing what first appears is quite prominent. Her works are said to evoke intense meditativeness. The play with time and light, the two metaphors are constant in her paintings. Her works were exhibited at many places abroad and in India, including the National Gallery of Modern Art, Lalit Kala Akademi, Bharat Bhavan.
