Laminated glass is a safety glass as it holds together when shattered. It is bound by an interlayer, typically of Polyvinyl Butyral sandwiched between two or more layers of glass. The high strength of the interlayer prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. Instead, a characteristic “spider web” cracking pattern is produced when the impact is not strong enough to completely pierce the glass.
KGLAM laminated glass is produced by a heat pressure process on The Fully Automatic Laminating Line from Shenzhen Handong Glass Machinery Co., China with Autoclave. The line, with integrated autoclave, boasts automatic loading and unloading, automatic glass positioning and a fully automatic online control system. The key to laminated glass is that PVB are not joined but “conjoined”.
KGLam Laminated Glass lends exceptional Safety and Security with very low visible distortion. It reduces heat, glare and sound while eliminating 99% UV radiation.
KG LAM is used in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, airport terminals, libraries, museums, jewelry stores, residential building etc. It is specially recommended for curtain wall glazing, overhead glazing, floors, glass roofs and aquariums.
