Ridhi Sidhi HS is a semi-tempered glass which retains the normal properties of ordinary float glass. The difference lies in the chemical resistance, hardness, expansion and deflection. This glass is generally twice as strong as annealed glass and has more resistance to heat fracture. It is perfect for commercial applications such as spandrels, windows in high wind load areas, and applications where the glass is expected to receive high thermal exposure. The glass cannot be cut, drilled or edge worked. The glass also facilitates lesser visual distortion.
Heat strengthened glass allows the inter layer to adhere more evenly because of flatter finish surface, in comparison to tampered lamination glass. As against toughened glass heat strengthened glass with its flatter surface also results in a facade having less optical distortions.
