Dubai, keeping up with the heights of its buildings, might be getting ready to come up with another structure to add on the list: Dubai Creek Harbour. The video released by the developer, Emmar, walks us down a path along palm tree-lined boardwalks with waterfront living. The harbour would be span across 550 hectares and would be a 15-minute drive from Downtown Dubai. The space consists of 820,000 sqm of mall retail, 66,000 sqm of cultural space, and 7.3 million sqm of residential space. Dubai Creek Tower will be the highlight feature, with a height of 928 metres, hundred metres higher than BurjKhalifa.

The inspiration is derived from the lily flower while transforming that into the image of a minaret. Some of the world’s highest observation decks will be placed on an elongated oval-shaped bud, offering the visitors 360 degree panoramic views of the city from its plot near Ras Al Khor National Wildlife Sanctuary. Hill International made an announcement in June 2017 that it won a one-year deal to oversee construction of the Dubai Creek Harbour scheme for Dh27.8 million. It has also said that the project is expected to take 30 years to construct. About 2000 residential properties are to be delivered every year for the first five years according to an estimate by Emaar Properties.
