Insulated Glass by Gold Plus Glass

Insulated Glass by Gold Plus Glass

Overview

An insulating glass is made by fusing two or more glass panes spaced by dry air or inert gas. The system is perfected by separating the glass panes with an aluminium spacer tube, joined at each corner and filled with a specially designed adsorbent. The unit is then sealed around the perimeter with a flexible sealant. The inner seal is applied with buty (polyisobutylene) sealant and the outer with an elastic based on polysulphide polymer or silicone.
