It generally has an aluminum frame structure and glass vision panels with spandrels which can be made of glass, metal, stone, compressed cement or composite panels. Fenestration:Well engineered window and door systems are products that successfully allow the desired extent of ventilation when needed and successfully exclude air and water, as required. The window/door system should be designed to suit the applicable wind loads on the building for which they are provided.
