Product Description
The proportion of cement to aggregate in the backing of the tiles is not leaner than 1:3 by weight. Where coloring material is used in the wearing layer, it shall not exceed 10% by mass of cement used in the mix.
Technical Details
- Average Wear is 1.7 to 2mm much below the required rate of 3.5 mm for non heavy-duty and 2mm for heavy-duty flooring as per IS 1237.
- Water Absorption - Less than 5% much below maximum of 10% allowed in IS 1237
- Compressive Strength - 375 to 450 kgs/sqcm

- Wet Transverse Strength - 35 to 45 Kgs/sqcm against 30 kg persqcm of IS specification.
