1. Heavy Duty 4 Bar Friction Hinges made from Austenitic SS 304 Steel suitable for Aluminium and PVC–U applications.
2. SS304 (EN 1.4301) is composed of 17.5-20% Chromium, 8-11% Nickel, < 0.08% Carbon, 2% Manganese, 1% Silicon, 0.045% Phosphorous and 0.03% Sulphur and has Hardness of up to 360 BHN, high Fatigue Strength of up to 440 MPa, Young's Modulus of 200 GPa, Ultimate
3. Tensile Strength up to 1180 MPa, Shear Strength up to 690 MPa.
4. With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of 20, and good resistance to Inter-Granular Corrosion, SS 304 is well serviceable in corrosive environments.
5. 16.5 mm. Stack Height.
6. Base Channel Width 22.5 mm.
7. Specially designed for Side Hung Vents for Aluminium as well as PVC-U Windows.
8. Self Balancing with excellent weather sealing capabilities.
