Product Description

Quality 5 Bar Friction Hinges made from Austenitic SS 304 Steel for Light Commercial and Residential applications.
SS304 (EN 1.4301) is composed of 17.5-20% Chromium, 8-11% Nickel, < 0.08% Carbon, 2% Manganese, 1% Silicon, 0.045% Phosphorous and 0.03% Sulphur and has Hardness of up to 360 BHN, high Fatigue Strength of up to 440 MPa, Young's Modulus of 200 GPa, Ultimate Tensile Strength up to 1180 MPa, Shear Strength up to 690 MPa.
With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of 20, and good resistance to Inter-Granular Corrosion, SS 304 is well serviceable in corrosive environments.
13 mm. Stack Height suitable for both Aluminium as well as PVC-U applications.
18 mm Base Channel Width.
Specially designed for Side Hung and Top Hung Vents for Aluminium as well as PVC-U Windows.
Self Balancing with excellent weather sealing capabilities.
Pressure adjustment screw for Friction setting for catering to different sash weights.
Capable of withstanding positive as well as negative wind loads in closed condition.
Easy to clean outside glass surface as the sash shifts sufficiently away from the jamb.
Vent openable up to 88°.
