Product Description
Silirub 989 is a high performance, low odor, one-component joint and glazing sealants based on neutral silicone. Silirub 989 has been developed for weatherseal silicone sealant.
Key Features:
- Long open time.
- Compatible with PVB-film.
- Very easy to apply.
- Colourfast and UV resistant.
- Permanent elastic after curing.
- Corrosion free.
- Resistant against UV-radiation, rain, frost, wind, ozone and extreme temperatures.
- Excellent adhesion properties on glass, laminated glass, coated aluminium, galvanised steel, concrete and masonry.
Application:
- Weatherseal in curtain wall applications.
- All usual building, connection, expansion and dilatation joints.
- Excellent for double glazing.
- Facade joint.
Shelf life And Storage: 12 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
