Product Description .

Silirub 989 is a high performance, low odor, one-component joint and glazing sealants based on neutral silicone. Silirub 989 has been developed for weatherseal silicone sealant.

Key Features: 

  • Long open time.
  • Compatible with PVB-film.
  • Very easy to apply.
  • Colourfast and UV resistant.
  • Permanent elastic after curing.
  • Corrosion free.
  • Resistant against UV-radiation, rain, frost, wind, ozone and extreme temperatures.
  • Excellent adhesion properties on glass, laminated glass, coated aluminium, galvanised steel, concrete and masonry.

Application: 

  • Weatherseal in curtain wall applications.
  • All usual building, connection, expansion and dilatation joints.
  • Excellent for double glazing.
  • Facade joint.

Shelf life And Storage: 12 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
