What are the types of Venetian Blinds?

    Venetian Blinds are window dressings used to cut out light from the windows. These blinds are held together with a string or cord which can be manually operated or can be opened and closed with a remote control. They are known as Venetian Blinds as they were originated in Venice. The various kinds of Blinds are-

    • Venetian Blinds

    The Venetian Blinds are made out of a combination of horizontal slats. The slat width ranges between 1 inch to three and a half inch. The thicker the slat width the more light it blocks.They are rolled upwards with a cord to infill light.

    • Vertical Blinds

    Vertical Blinds are blinds having vertical slats. When opened they are rolled  towards the sides.

    • Roller Blinds

    Roller blinds work like a shade. They roll along a metal rod upwards when open and they are rolled downwards when closed.

    • Faux Wood Blinds

    These Blinds replicate the look of wood. They are heavy in weight compared to other blinds.Faux wood is expensive, easy to clean and does not absorb moisture.

    • Aluminium Blinds

    Aluminium Blinds are light in weight and give a very metallic look.

    • Roman Blinds

    Roman Blinds are blinds that are made of fabric and get rolled upwards in the form of beautiful and neat pleats.
