Sealing the bottom of a door is essential for an effective smoke containment or acoustic sealing system. The seal incorporates a high efficiency spring loaded mechanism that extends the seal as the door swings shut and automatically retracts it as the door is opened by just a few centimeter's. This bar is actuated by by plunger, which contacts the frame of the door while closing - forcing the drop bar to seal against the floor on threshold. Their low closing force actuation does not allow it to conflict with the operation of door closer operation. Installation is quick and easy.
